Longley Systems was established in 1955 and
incorporated in 1960 by Quenten “Shorty”
Longley to sell and service time clocks in the Quad City area of
Illinois and Iowa. In 1981 “Shorty” retired and transferred the
business to his son, Daniel Longley, who operated the business
until 2006 when he retired and the business was transferred to
David Malnar, an eight year employee with over twenty-five
years of experience in computer software systems, service, and
sales.
Longley Systems has been a partner with Lathem,
Rapidprint, and Amano for over 25 years providing time clocks
and supplies.
Longley Systems has been a partner and a regional
sales leader of NOVAtime products since its inception in 2000.
Longley Systems is considered by many as one of the “experts” in
the Time and Attendance industry throughout the Midwest with a
large customer base in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin in many
industries.
In 1978, Shorty was one of the founding member of the
National
Time and Equipment Association (NTEA), and his son, Daniel Longley was President and actively involved for many years. The NTEA has been a venue for Time and Attendance dealers across the United States
to share their experience and knowledge to benefit their
business and the industry. The NTEA is a strong and successful
association today.
Longley Systems believes that giving back to the community is a
responsibility that all business should share and will continue
to engage in more efforts to reach out and be actively involved
in making our community a better place to live and work.
Longley Systems is committed to the concept of
